- Bombyx mori fibers
Also called domesticated or cultivated silk, it is available
in many forms; it is clear white, buttery soft, and lustrous.
- cocoons
These cocoons are produced by the Bombyx mori silkworm in China,
and have been stifled so they will not hatch out. Each ounce of cocoons
has approximately 35 cocoons.
- mawata
Bombyx mori cocoons are stretched over either a square frame to make “hankies” or
a cone shaped form to make caps. All mawata are still hand made, usually in
China.
- Bombyx mori blends

- Tussah fibers
Tussah is the name for silk produced from the wild or semi-domesticated
silkworm; the color will vary depending on diet or strain of worm.

- Hat kits
We’re always asked for directions to make some of the samples we have at shows, so we have put together several kits featuring our yarns.
- Colorways Dyed Fibers
Rainbow Dyed fibers are our specialty! Over the years, several Colorways have stayed the course, while we occasionally add some new ones. We are up to 14 Colorways in stock, and sometimes have others that were a trial - or mistake! (it does happen!).
- Yarns
We take the wool from our sheep, carefully wash it, blend it with other fibers from the Chenango region such as Alpaca, and then have it spun into natural colored yarns.
